Outlook

From my test in the lab, if you configured your Office 365 in Outlook for Mac client by using IMAP protocol, the Store/Get Add-Ins button will not appear. Because it's only supported for Microsoft Exchange account. Therefore, you can re-add your account as an Office 365 account to check if it makes any difference.

Tired of receiving those pesky phishing emails? Want to do something about it? Then report them to Microsoft.

You can report a phishing scam to Microsoft by forwarding the entire message (ALT-CTL-F) to phish@office365.microsoft.com. Or for easier reporting, add a Phishing Report button to your Outlook with the following instructions.

  1. Find your Outlook product information. Be sure to note if you have a 32 or 64 bit version of Outlook. To do this from Outlook, go to File – Office Account – About Outlook to see your version.
  2. Download and install the Microsoft Outlook Junk Reporting Add-in for your version from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18275.
  3. Open Outlook and verify the Junk appears in the ribbon. Click on the down arrow next to Junk to view the options.
  4. Right click a blank space in the ribbon and choose ‘Customize the Ribbon’. On the right side, under “Customize the Ribbon” select Main Tabs, and expand the Home (Mail) tab. Click the ‘New Group’ button and rename it to “Phishing Report” or something else of your choice. You can move up or down the stack to customize placement on the ribbon.
  5. Select the ‘Report junk’ button on the left side, and add it to the ‘Phishing Report’ group you just created by clicking the ‘add>>’ button. Rename it and give it an icon of your choice.

Now you have the Phishing Report icon in your ribbon and can report directly to Microsoft by selecting the email and clicking the Report as Phishing button. Same frutteto 75 manual.

The email will be sent to phish@office365.microsoft.com and the email will be moved to your Junk folder if it was in your Inbox. By default, the email is only sent to Microsoft, but you can edit the registry to add a bcc email address of your choice. The email is sent as an attachment preserving all Internet header information that is missing from a forwarded message. You can add multiple emails of your choice by separating each with a semicolon. Here is the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeMicrosoftJunk E-mail ReportingAddins.

If you do not have experience with registry edits contact your MSP, IT or Security Department for assistance. Use at your own risk.

With the Blackbaud for Outlook add-in, you can view constituent details about email senders and recipients and create actions from their messages in your Microsoft Outlook inbox. To use the add-in in Outlook, select Blackbaud from your inbox.

Add an action

With the add-in, you can add an email as action to the constituent's record. When you save an action, the add-in automatically:

  • Tracks the interaction as an email, completed on the date you create the action

  • Includes the email's subject line and content as a summary and note on the action, respectively

  • Tracks the direction of the interaction — inbound or outbound — based on whether the constituent sent or received the email

Note: When you add an action from Outlook, you can choose the fundraisers to assign it to.

To add an email as an action:

  1. In your Outlook inbox, select the email, and then select Blackbaud or — if the add-in is open to the constituent information — Add action.

    • If multiple constituents share the email address, choose who to apply the action to.

    • If no constituent record has the email address, search for who to apply the action to in the Search for a constituent field.

  2. To help describe the intent of the email, choose the action's type. For more information, see Action Categories and Types.

Note: The add-in automatically enters the type of the last action saved.

  3. Update the action's date and summary as necessary.

  4. With Prospect Research Management, choose which of the constituent's opportunities it supports.

  5. To include additional details than just the email's content, select Edit notes.

  6. To view or manage the assigned fundraisers, select Assign fundraisers.

Note: The action is automatically assigned to the fundraisers you last assigned an action to in Outlook.

    • To remove a fundraiser from the action, select their x under Current fundraisers.

    • To assign the action to other fundraisers, choose who should manage the action, and select Save.

      • To assign the action to yourself, select me.

Tip: To assign actions to yourself, your constituent record must be marked as a fundraiser.

      • To assign the action to another fundraiser, search for and select them.

  7. Select Save.

Tip: In Raiser's Edge NXT, you can add actions as appointments to your calendar in Microsoft Outlook 365. For more information, see Calendar Appointments.
