The Story

Frank West returns once again in Dead Rising 4 and this time he goes back to the city where it all began - Willamette, Colorado. It is the holiday season and it seems a mysterious outbreak has occurred at the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall and surrounding town. It's up to you to take on the role of Frank West and explore another open world sandbox area to find the truth behind yet another zombie outbreak while bringing in loads of holiday cheer.

The Guide

This guide is written as a wiki format. Please edit the guide or contact me (Berserker) on Neoseeker if there is anything you would like to add or any advice that you would like to give.

Case Files

Dead Rising 4 has a total of seven Case Files and a Prologue in its main story. The story mission pages include all extra Rumor missions and a few of the more obvious or vital collectibles that you will find along the way. If you want to find all the collectibles in the game then see the respective collectible page for whatever collectible you are searching for.

Combo Weapon Blueprints

The following pages list out the locations for each combo weapon based on the type. In order to use a combo weapon, Frank must find the blueprint then he can combine the two types of items needed anytime he has access to them. Just like in Dead Rising 3, Frank needs to combo one specific item and then an item from a certain category in order to create the combo weapon.

Collectibles

The pages below list the various collectibles that can be found throughout the world of Dead Rising 4. Finding all the Newspapers, Podcast, Cell Phones, Vick's Cloud Uploads and Persons of Interest will help Frank complete his notebook. It would be best to start out by collecting all the keys before you start collecting other collectibles since the keys will lead to lockers and panic rooms that may contain collectibles.

Trials

The following pages list out all trials in the game along with an explanation of how to get some of the tougher trials. Most of the trials are simply grinding but a few are specific and tricky.

Frank Rising DLC

Frank Rising is the DLC and basically the Overtime mode for Dead Rising 4. The case file is called 'Countdown'. This mode picks up right after the end of Dead Rising 4 and just seeing the title image on the page is basically a spoiler, so make sure you finish the full game before going to the link below. Just like the main game, the DLC guide is very extensive and will help players with almost everything.

Capcom Heroes DLC

Capcom Heroes is the free DLC that was available with the December update for Dead Rising 4 for Xbox One and PC players - this mode is already included in the PS4 release. Frank must utilize costumes for extra power while working his way back through the story mode. This mode has the same basic story gameplay as the main game, so instead of retread through that, I have worked together pages full of costume and collectible locations listed below.

Journalist/zombie death master Frank West has returned to Willamette to uncover another undead conspiracy with Dead Rising 4!

While players have been glued to their screens slaughtering zombies by the thousands since the moment it launched (well, if you don't have a PS4 or only do Steam gaming that is..), there are a few changes that have left franchise fans scratching their heads.

Dead Rising 4's Save System

Most notably is a revamped save game system, which has completely changed from the series staple of heading into a bathroom and choosing from a limited number of save slots.

While previous games were meant to be played repeatedly, starting over from time to time while retaining your character upgrades so you can better meet challenges, Dead Rising 4 is much more of a straightforward and accessible experience.

Rising

There are no more save rooms, and instead the game will auto save frequently by displaying a black and white square at the top-right corner. This has caused some problems for players, especially because of how focused the game is on exploration and picking up items you don't want to lose before an auto save.

Manually Saving In Dead Rising 4

While the game does auto save frequently enough that you won't often lose progress, there may be times you want to specifically save immediately to drop out. Although you can't pull up a menu or go to a location to save, there are a few ways to game the system and force an auto save.

Auto saves take place anytime you complete a mission or side activity, so that's a reliable way to get a save. It also frequently saves after shooting a photo, since the game needs to keep track of how many points the photo netted Frank, and you can get an auto save after dying.

Adobe audition vs apple logic pro. Unfortunately its not as reliable as pulling up a save menu screen as with most other games, but with a little effort you can essentially get the same result. Install pandas for python 3 mac.
